The Ohio State University
The Spoken English Program
The purpose of the arranged section of EDU T&L 105 is to provide for students who have already taken EDU T&L 105 the opportunity for pronunciation and teaching practice so that they may improve their spoken English and presentation skills to the level at which they can communicte effectively in the classroom.

This special section allows for maximum student practice: in every class meeting, each student makes a short presentation. Roughly half of the class meetings are videotaped allowing for individual critiques in tutorial with each student over his/her presentation. The other half of the sessions are immediate feedback/coaching sessions–students are stopped and corrected whenever a problem in communication occurs. Students then go back and repeat, making the suggested correction.
