The Spoken English Program
Course Materials - Calendar
Ed. T&L 104 Arranged continues the work of 104 with more emphasis on accruacy of pronunciation and grammar and development of interaction strategies. Students do considerable work on their ability to communicate on a more sophisticated level with members of the academic community on a variety of current event and controversial topics. The class also requires students to develop their ability to speak easily and well about their own subject areas, both in taped assignments and in presentations, all of which are topics in their academic fields. There is a high level of individual attention to students difficulties with pronunciation, grammar and fluency with weekly meetings one-on-one between each student and the teacher.
